Pear farmers in Tiemenguan City, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region are using unmanned aerial vehicles to pollinate Korla pear trees.

That's because bees have been stopped from winding their way through the local orchards in an attempt to prevent the spread of canker, a deadly disease that destroys trees.
