Dr. Panuwan and Dr.Terd from Chiang Mai University of Thailand visited the institute of Apicultural Research of CAAS on August 24th 2015. The main purpose of the visit is to conduct the Ministry of Agricutlrue “948” research program: Technology introduction and innovation of disease and pests in bumblebee.

Dr. Panuwan and Dr.Terd delieved presetentions on “The difference of black queen bee virus capsid protein between Thailandand Japan bees” and “The separation of oriental bees intestinal bacteria and features” respectively. Dr. Panuwan shared ideas on their recent studuies including: the comparative study of volatile substance on beehive honey and honey goods; the structure and characteristics of honeybee pupa cocoon silk; the medicinal efficiency of stingless bee propolis, etc.
