In order to further improve the development of Cangyuan bee industry，actively seeking cooperation in bee industry assistance projects made new progress. On April 7, Cangyuan bee industry cooperation video conference was launched by the Institute of Apicultural Research of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (IARCAAS), together with China Eastern Airlines Group, Chia Tai Group and Cangyuan Autonomous County. Focusing on Cangyuan bee industry cooperation, the Quartet discussed in depth to work together and build the entire bee industry chain.

Peng Wenjun, director of IARCAAS, introduced the progress of the Cangyuan bee industry assistance project on the conference. Since the implementation of the bee industry assistance project in 2020, IARCAAS has actively promoted the project by forming the team of on-site experts, participating in the formulation of Cangyuan bee industry development program, promoting the declaration of geographical indication products and green food as well as analyzing the functional components of Mi Tuan flower ( Leucosceptrum canum ) honey and strengthening the training of beekeeping skills in Cangyuan to improve the development of Cangyuan bee industry.

Representatives from the four parties communicated on cooperation mechanisms, ideas and plans for promotion. In addition, they deployed the revitalization of the characteristic industry of Mi Tuan flower ( Leucosceptrum canum ) honey as an entry point to build a model for joint support of rural revitalization by technology, enterprises and localities.

More than 30 representatives participated in the conference.
